Day 7 of the Birkenstock 365 is upon us, ladies and gentlemen.
We’re celebrating this shortened holiday work-week by featuring pictures that are congruent with the comfort and relaxation that is inherent in both 4th of July weekends and, yes, Birkenstock footwear. Enjoy this gem, may we all look so at ease this coming weekend!
Here’s a thought, in order to scrounge up some more contributions to the Birkenstock 365 Flickr Pool I’m going to offer up a 30% off, one-time coupon to our webstore for the most original “4th of July” themed photo that includes you and your favorite pair of Birkenstock. Hello again and welcome back to the Birkenstock 365!
We’re going to start off this Monday a little more “grounded” than where we left off last Friday. Worry not though, we’ll have you lifted off of the ground just in time for the 4th of July festivities this weekend.
The Flickr pool grew a little over the weekend though we’re still needing your contributions. How do you guys feel about snapping some fresh photos of your 4th of July weekend? After all, what’s a relaxing summer holiday without your most trusty, comfortable kicks?
Today’s photo looks as if it could have been taken during a nice holiday weekend. Also, it’s making me crave fresh chips and salsa, mmmmm. The colors in this one are simply awesome, keep em coming folks!

Hello and welcome again to the Birkenstock 365 photo project!
We’re riding high over here at Birkenstock and we love this project! We hope you’re enjoying it as well. Today marks the end of our first week featuring your pictures on our blog. We hope to feature a different picture from our Birkenstock 365 Flickr Pool every working day of the year.
This week we featured a great shot from a poolside, a bike ride, an LOL cat, and possibly the sweetest tan we’ve ever seen. Today’s selection captures how we’re all feeling heading into what should be an excellent weekend. While Birkenstock sandals may not be able to make you fly they just might make you feel like you’re walking on air.

Welcome again to the Birkenstock 365 project, day four!
The picture we’ve selected today depicts an avid Birkenstock wearer, sans sandals. Who would have thought we’d select a picture to feature on our blog of someone NOT wearing Birkenstock sandals, clogs, or shoes!?! Fortunately we’re pretty darn certain we know the origin of this unique tan.
We’re still looking for more submissions to our Birkenstock 365 Flickr Pool so if you have any great shots of you in (our out) of your favorite pair, please add them! If you’re not on flickr you can send them to us through our Twitter account or through our Facebook page.

Shorts, sandals, and riding bikes are all things that we love and try to make an integral part of our Summer experience. Welcome to Day One of the Birkenstock 365 project. We’ve created our very own flickr group where we’ve been collecting your pictures to feature on our blog, every working day of the year. We’re currently sitting at nearly 80 pictures so I figured it was time to get on with the posting! However, 80 pictures certainly won’t cut it for the year so we’re still looking for you to donate a few more. Do that here:

Susie Tompkins Buell (co-founder of Esprit, political activist and philanthropist) dropped us a note to let us know how much she loves the Birkenstock brand. She says;
Brands and products that we’ve relied on for years are fizzling out. The way I see it, there are very few iconic products that are left for us to enjoy and learn from. I like to call them standbys: they’ll always be there to come back to if you wandered off for a spell. I have my favorite standards, like Levi’s 501 jeans, Brooks Bros. classic button downs, Hermes Kelly bag, a perfect white Hanes tee, Lacoste polo, and of course, my Birkenstock sandals. New fits, colors, and textures will inevitably be added to the basics, but these classics will always endure. There’s no better look than that of the confident wearer of the classics in lieu of the trendy fly-by-night fashion that’s being pushed on consumers today.

Hey there everybody! We just had an idea. One that requires a little love from the likes of you! Don’t worry; we’ve done the dirty work (Boston clogs are good for that, you know). We want to start an interactive photo project by which we will collect images from you, the people who wear our shoes, and then feature a different image everyday. We’d love to have you start contributing! To get it going, we’ve created the Birkenstock 365 group on Flickr
Go there and contribute and you may have your images featured on Flickr and the Birkenstock website!
In case you’re not on Flickr feel free to forward us images through either the Birkenstock page on Facebook or through our @BirkenstockUSA feed on Twitter and we’ll do our best to upload them for you! A special thanks to @afranks for sending us this gem!
