As I mentioned yesterday, we’re featuring bicycle related photographs all week. We had a couple phenomenal entries to share with you Monday and Tuesday. I promised a special treat yesterday, should you come and check me US out today. This, ladies and gentlemen, is yours truly. Say helloooooo! Here I am in my trusty Boston Mocha Suede Soft Footbed clogs. And, clearly you can see that my t-shirt has a bicycle on it. Unfortunately it seems a bit difficult to read the caption underneath the bicycle which says “53 Miles Per Burrito.” Pretty awesome, right? More bikes tomorrow! Until then, I’m developing a craving for lunch wrapped in a tortilla.

Hellooooooooo! Welcome back!

So we’ve decided, this is ‘Bike Week’ here on the Birkenstock 365 project. Yesterday’s shot was enough to spur some inspiration. Today’s photo is one of the very first to be added to the Flickr pool and we’ve been saving it. While it looks like a Fall photo the caption explains that it was taken back in May. We’re not ready to give up on Summer so soon!

Happy Monday everyone! Thanks for checking back in on the Birkenstock 365. Is it starting to feel a little bit like Fall out there?

This morning’s featured photo I feel like has probably been in the Flickr pool for sometime and, until this morning, had gone overlooked. That being said, it sure is awesome. We love riding bikes here at Birkenstock. We also love Arizona sandals here at Birkenstock. Do you wear your Birkenstock sandals, shoes, or clogs when you’re out riding your bike? Either that or this photo was taken on the foggy streets of San Francisco with the optimal amount of space cleared in said fog to snap a photo of these Gizehs. You decide. (Pssst, according to the caption this picture was actually snapped in Amsterdam). Whatever you choose to believe, it’s a pretty picture, no?

Good morning everyone! Welcome back to the Birkenstock 365.

How’d you like to see this every morning! This is Denali, otherwise known as Mt. McKinley, located in the heartland of Alaska. And, from what I’ve been told, actually seeing the top of the mountain is a rarity, saved only for a few days a year when the weather cooperates. I went to Denali National Park once, we didn’t see the mountain at all. Perhaps I should have been wearing my favorite pair of Bostons for good luck. Or had a co-pilot in these Madrids. Either way, what a great photo.

Now this, this is how you take a day off! Sledding on the white sands available in New Mexico. I *believe* these pictures are from the same trip, though they’ve been uploaded to flickr from different accounts. Either way, thanks for adding them to the Birkenstock 365 flickr pool! Silver Madrids are featured in both photos, and you know how much we love those around here. THEY’RE SO INEXPENSIVE.

Welcome to Friday here at the Birkenstock blog, otherwise known as: Things wot Aaron would like to be doing in the coming days. That’s it, I’m going to the beach this weekend. Did you know that the Birkenstock footbed was designed to match one’s footprint in sand? Thus, if you can’t make it to a beach yourself this weekend you have to look no further than any one pair of your favorite Birkenstock sandals, clogs, or shoes. Then just close your eyes and be whisked away to the wave breaks and Pina Coladas.

Today we’ve yet another immediate winner that was added to the flickr pool overnight. I suppose I’m a sucker for art. And these 100s from the Relax Collection. Often confused with the Madrid Sandal, they’re so inexpensive! If only they were fashionable for men I’d probably have a pair in every color…

Hello again, everybody. Thanks for popping back in to check the Birkenstock 365.

September is upon us and with it brings most places in the US the turning of the leaves, the cooler breezes, football, school, and hot chocolate. While we’re still celebrating Summer, Fall is nigh. Thus, we present you with a preemptive Fall-ish photo of a pair of Bostons. I’ve made it no secret that my favorite pair of Birkenstock footwear is my Boston Soft Foodbed in Mocha Suede. AND, I think that socks with Bostons are totally acceptable! Anyone have a different opinion?

Worry not, we’ll get back to Summer shots tomorrow. Sunshine and sandals, life is good today.
