Birkenstock 365 Day 95

Purple Birkenstock

Happy Friday, Birkenstock fans. We hope you’ve all got something to look forward to this weekend.

Today we thought we’d stick with the same theme we went with yesterday. With just a *spash* of color. Simple is beautiful.

Have you any Halloween plans? Birkenstock sandals can be worn for more than just your hippie costume, you know. Parents, take note that your Birkenstock footwear will be the most comfortable thing you can wear while door-to-door’ing it with your kids on the hunt for some candy. Take pictures!

Donate your Birkenstock related photos here for your chance to be featured on our blog, facebook, and twitter accounts.

Aaron

Well-Worn Birks

Ciao Birkenstock fans!

Beauty in simplicity is the theme for today. Sometimes a well-worn pair of Birkenstock sandals is all you need to crack a smile. Just looking at them can bring about associations with comfort, memories, and an easy pace. This pair of Arizonas might best be described as perfectly seasoned and their lucky owner is destined for a healthy gait and a certain hop in his step reserved only for Birkenstock fans.

:)

shoe repair

Good morning everyone. Er, afternoon? Either way, helloooooo!

Seen here is a fantastic shoe repair store on the infamous Haight St. in San Francisco, California. The innards of this repair shop make it look as if it’s been in business for a hundred years. And how cool is that sign!? ‘Birkenstock, Welcome!’ Heck, I’m almost obligated at this point to remind all of you that Birkenstock sandals are completely renewable and repairable at your local authorized repair shop.

For a neat photographic look into the process of repairing a badly worn pair of Birkenstock sandals, have a look here at what Mountain Soles in Portland, Oregon did to this pair of Milanos.

looking at strange sea creatures

Hello everybody! Thanks for coming back to the Birkenstock 365 for yet another peep into what your fellow Birkenstock fans are doing with themselves.

You’ll let me know if I ever duplicate any of these photographs on the blog, won’t you? We’re nearly a cool hundred days into this venture and I’ve been asking myself if I’ve posted any of these pictures before during the selection process.

While there’s nothing too exciting about today’s selections they both represent things I wish I had been up to this last weekend. Here’s to riding on boats and looking at kelp on the ocean beach!

Think you’ve got something a little more exciting? A photo of your cat wearing your Birkenstock sandals? Grandma wearing a pair as earrings? Please! Get a hold of us and donate them on flickr, twitter, or facebook.

49er London

Hey there, Birkenstock fans. Welcome back to the Birkenstock 365!

Feast your eyes on another pair of Londons. Fallen logs sold separately. Did I tell you about these shoes already? Because they’re great. Like a more formal clog, complete with all the comfort you’ve come to know and expect from Birkenstock. I’m starting to think I need to pick up my first pair of Londons for all of the Fall/Winter evening events there are to attend. Dinners, plays, holidays… AHHH this might be the best time of year.

Welcome back everybody.

It’s about time we featured some more of our Fall favorites here on the Birkenstock blog. Keeping those feet of yours warm throughout the Fall and Winter is something we can help with. The Boston clog isn’t our only closed-toe silhouette, it just happens to be my personal favorite. Have a look at the London. All the warmth and comfort of a Boston, with a heel cup for those of you who aren’t fond of a clog!

The London is available in a few select colors and for both men and women.

Keep those little piggies warm in the coming months!

Berkemann and Birkenstock

Hellooooo! Thanks for coming back.

Sorry for the late post today, the flickr website was down for much of the morning.

This gem was added into the flickr pool overnight. There are only one pair of Birkenstock sandals in this photograph. Can you tell which one is the imposter? The photo has had some doctoring done to it but that shouldn’t lead you astray.

Have any photographs of your own that you’d like to share with us and the rest of the fellow Birkenstock fans on our blog? Please! Donate them here.

Aaron

Birkenstock 365 Days 85 & 86

These shoes were made for walking!

photo

Hello! Welcome back to the Birkenstock 365.

I missed posting a 365 photo on Friday! I hope you’re not too terribly upset. Here’s yet another double-dip-day for you, to make up for it.

Anyone know where the first photo was taken? The tags on the flickr page don’t mention it. Small as the photo may be, trust that the woman photographed is in a pair of Silver Gizehs. What a neat photograph.

Photo number two was sent to me via picture message this last weekend from a pumpkin carving party. Glad to see my dearest friends are also enjoying their Gizehs. I wonder if she carved her pumpkin with a Birkenstock image? Will you?

Well worn Birkenstocks on Welsh pebbly beach

Hello again!

While Fall is upon us, we need you all to know that we haven’t resorted to ONLY wearing Birkenstock clogs. There are still many a sunny day ahead and we can’t have you all forgetting about footwear gems such as this Cozumel. Now while we’re discontinuing the Cozumel you should also know that we’ve improved upon it, adding another buckle for sizing comfort and are calling it the Mayari. The Mayari retails for around $80, a steal if you ask me, for a sandal that could last you a lifetime.

Keeping Birkenstock in business

Oh hi, welcome back to the Birkenstock 365!

Ohhh the choices! This seems to be a theme of late, showing multiple pair of Birkenstock footwear in the same photo. And because it’s slowly becoming clog season we thought this photo a perfect fit for the 365. How many pair of Bostons do you own? Admittedly, I wish I had this many pair to choose from everyday.

It’s nearing time we found another contest for everyone to participate in, yes? We’re open to suggestion, please leave any you have in the comments below.

Tread Lightly,

Aaron
