Hey everyone! As most of you know, I rode my bike (17.7 miles) and took a ferry to work yesterday as a way to celebrate Earth Day. I had a custom pair of Birkenstock SPD sandals made so I could make my ride a little more efficient and fun, they worked fantastically!
The photo above is a poorly stitched together panorama from my seat on the back of the ferry. Getting a panorama together from the back of a moving boat is no easy task so take it easy on me, if you please! If you can ignore the mistakes in the photo, it’s kind of neat to look at large.
All-in-all, it was a wonderful day and a beautiful ride. Look for a complete run down of the trip in a blog post here on Monday. Until then…

I know this might be off the subject, but where do you get your custom made Birkenstock sandal?
I used gobuyeurope.com a couple of years back and the were great. But I’ve been trying to place an order for the past few days and there seems to be something wrong with thier website.
Any help is appreciated.
