Gooooooooooooood Morning!
Today we’d like to feature one of our lesser known products. This is a very simple shot we’ve had in the Birkenstock 365 Flickr Pool for sometime. I’d managed to keep skipping over it during the selection process until I received my very own pair in the mail late last week. This is the Birkenstock Alabama, a lace-up shoe available up to a size 46 (US equivalent to a Men’s 13-13.5).
I wore this shoe around Salt Lake City the past few days where I attended the Outdoor Retailer trade show. It features the same famous Birkenstock footbed in a stylish-yet-simple shoe. Sorry for the plug on this one but I seem to have fallen in love with it! You just might too… it’s definitely worth a shot.
The Alabama is not the only product we manufacture that’s available in large sizes, gents. Do yourself a favor and have a gander at the product line, find your local retailer and get yourself fitted for some large scale comfort.

WOW!!!! These look like a great shoe! I clicked on to look at them and they said they were Alabama’s???? Hopwever the Alabama didn’t appear to have the cool little flap on the back. Am I looking at the worng thing????

Sorry, but those are Montanas, not Alabamas. Look at the lace, and the rivets in the front. Alabamas don’t have a lace hole on the front section of the shoe, and have two rivets (opposed to one). Both have the cool little fold!
