Look! Even the hipster kids in skinny jeans are loving Birkenstock these days. I can’t blame this one, the Bostons are definitely my favorite silhouette from Birkenstock. For any of you sneakerheads out there who love the rare and custom kicks, the Boston has a seemingly endless amount of space on which to paint, embroider, or otherwise customize. The leather Boston is virtually a blank canvas for your artistic needs and, like the now infamous Monkey Bag, they could become a one-of-a-kind gem. I challenge you all to create your own unique pair. Of course you’ll then have to come back and share them with us here.
