Today’s selection displays a series of bikes in front of a Birkenstock store deep in the Netherlands. Though I’ve never been, rumor on the street is that bicycling in Amsterdam is as ubiquitous with their culture as apple pie and Americans. WANT TO GO!

This is not the first photo I’ve seen of people lined up in front of Birkenstock stores in Europe. What’s the deal? Is there a shortage? A sale? Or are they just waiting for the afternoon siesta to end?
