Birkenstock 365 Day 64

September 17, 2009

Queuing on a Saturday afternoon at the Birkenstock shop, half an hour before closing time...

HellllooooOOOOOOOooooo again! (Psst, that was the sound ‘hello’ makes as we ride by on our trusty 10-Speeds).

Today’s selection displays a series of bikes in front of a Birkenstock store deep in the Netherlands. Though I’ve never been, rumor on the street is that bicycling in Amsterdam is as ubiquitous with their culture as apple pie and Americans. WANT TO GO!

Guys, I need at least ONE more bicycle related photo in the flickr pool ASAP! I fear we won’t have one to feature tomorrow so here’s your sure fire way to get featured on our blog. Please donate!

Tread Lightly,

Aaron

  1. This is not the first photo I’ve seen of people lined up in front of Birkenstock stores in Europe. What’s the deal? Is there a shortage? A sale? Or are they just waiting for the afternoon siesta to end?
