I'd like to see an "after" photo of the restoration. I own 13 pair of Birkenstocks from when I was a temporary worker at Birkenstock approximately 15 years ago and they are at the end of their useful life. None too pretty anymore, either! Perhaps there's hope for mine?

Malt-

A full "recraft" (new footbeds and soles) runs $69.00 a pair.
A simple resole with no cork damage is $39.00 a pair.

Malt - Repairs I would imagine vary on the services needed. Soles, footbeds, buckles, straps all can be repaired and replaced.

Matt - Hey! Glad to know you guys are still doing well. I worked in the Salomon Service Center. You did great work, it appears nothing has changed. Nice work on these Milano's!

Hi Aaron, what shop did you work for?

Thanks for posting our photo on your blog. The rebuilt sandals can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mtnsoles/832317976/in/set-72157621898407170/
We do this sort of repair all the time and it really shows that they can go on and on for a very long time!

Thanks Again!

Hey,Aaron This isn't that hard. When the weather gets a little cool you can't abandon your favorite Birks, so you just add socks. Nobody likes cold feet. Plus Birks are the only sandals you can legally wear socks with. Keep on keepin on. kno55
