Well isn’t this the dreamiest photo of a woman in Birkenstock Arizona sandals you’ve ever seen? It’s no secret that the Birkenstock footbed will make your feet feel like they’re walking on air, something you can only practically do when you’re sleeping. I wonder how this photo was taken. Double exposure? Long exposure? In heaven? Well, at least her feet were in heaven.

Here I sit with my worn out, slightly shabby paisley birks that I bought in the early 90’s. There is almost no tread in the ball of the foot. The cork is squishy and the footbed cover is lifting. Why don’t I get rid of them?
