It’s a special day for me here at the Birkenstock 365. What you’re looking at here is a photo of the customized Milanos that the good people at Mountain Soles up in Portland, OR made for my bike ride to work next week.
I have a question for you, internet friends. What should become of these beautiful Milanos after my bike ride? It seems logical that I would keep them and ride in them all the time but I’m thinking they could be put to some other use. A donation of some sort? Auction them off for charity? What say you? Leave suggestions in the comments below and we’ll get to brainstorming.

Oh why, why, WHY can we not have the soft bed birkenstocks in any of the pretty colors?
I long for the blue and purple suede clogs! But for both sandals and clogs, it’s brown, taupe, black. Only ever. WHY?? PLEASE tell them to make soft footbeds in other colors!!!
