Growing up, we used to call socks with holes in them or whose elastic had given out ‘quitters.’ I just couldn’t bring myself to put quitters in the title of this photograph because 1) it’s a really fantastic photo, 2) we simply can’t have any quitters on team Birkenstock and 3) its pretty well known that Birkenstock sandals (even when weathered and worn) can be brought right back to life with a little love from a cobbler. Additionally, it feels pretty neat to be able to use the word cobbler at work.
Wear your socks with your Birkenstock sandals. Heck, even wear your quitters with your Birkenstock sandals, we don’t mind. These Arizonas will most definitely outlast even your thickest, best socks.
