It looks like it might be a cozy kind of weekend here in the Bay Area. Did you know it rains in California? No one told me that before I moved here, no fair! What’s your favorite pair of Birkenstock sandals, shoes, or clogs to just wear around the house? You know, staying around the home is the perfect time to break in a fresh pair… just a thought.

Hello again Birkenstock lovers. Welcome back!

We were just thinking it was about time we had another instant winner dropped into the Birkenstock 365 flickr pool. Here you have it, this photo was added overnight and has become an immediate favorite around the office. So much so that it’s prompted my boss to request we do ‘Pet Week’ here on the Birkenstock 365. You know what that means, people. We need photos of your furry animals and your Birkenstock sandals, shoes, or clogs.

Helloooooo! Welcome back to the Birkenstock 365 project.

Seems we’re discovering more ‘out with the old and in with the new’ photos in our beloved flickr pool. The best part about owning a brand new pair of Birkenstock sandals is the excitement you feel about being able to wear your old pair for events/chores that you wouldn’t have worn them for before the new pair came along. All of a sudden mowing the lawn is A) more fun and B) more comfortable. Am I right or am I right?

Good afternoon Birkenstock fans, welcome back.

“Out with the old and in with the new” reads the title of this photo where it’s hosted in our Birkenstock 365 flickr pool. Sometimes you just have to purchase a brand new pair of Arizonas despite being able to ‘renew’ them from scratch. That’s perfectly acceptable with us, encouraged even. Of course you’re reading the ramblings of a gentleman who owns more shoes than most families of 4.

We’re curious to know, when do YOU make the decision to purchase a fresh pair of Birkenstock sandals, shoes, or clogs? After how long? New styles aside, after how long are you replacing a loved pair? Do you keep the old ones around for more multi-purpose wear?

Happy Friday everyone! Today we’re announcing the winner of the Birkenstock 365 Day 100 Free Pair Giveaway. Drum roll please……….

“Dear flip flops,

I am sorry i have waited so long to tell you this, but it’s over between us. I know I should have told you sooner but i have been caught up with someone new and it has been so earth shattering that I could not look back. I have spent too many days dealing with all the torture. I have wasted so much of my life dealing with all the pain you have put me through- the constant instability. You made me feel so cheap. so generic. My new love is wonderfully supportive and sexy! I cannot believe I didn’t know about Gizeh sooner in my life. I would not have made so many terrible choices. I will never ever go back to you oh flop. I am better than that now. Gizeh has opened my eyes to how wonderful life can be. Happy Wednesday everyone!

What kind of Wednesday would it be if we didn’t bring back the socks vs. no socks debate? For some reason, I really don’t mind the socks in this photo. I’m thinking it really has more to do with the presentation. Your thoughts? Pants vs. shorts or a skirt might be the variable that makes the look. You might be surprised to learn how many people rock the sock with the ‘Stock.
