OK, not everything has gone green, but if you look around today you’ll see an awful lot of it. Green beer, green hats, green t-shirts… and if you have the luck of the Irish you’ll maybe see some green Boston clogs.

Oh, Internet, how we love thee. This photo, ladies and gentleman, was taken yesterday and uploaded to flickr, then added to our Birkenstock 365 pool just this morning. YESTERDAY. On the Golden Gate Bridge, spanning the difference between San Francisco and the Marin Headlands. We had a beautiful weekend here in the Bay area, as evidenced so nicely in this photograph with the bicycle, the Mayaris, the bridge and the sunshine on the water below.

Without seeing any sunshine or sand between her toes it’s still pretty apparent this lovely woman is on vacation. Those Silver Gizehs look like they belong on vacation.

That being said, I won’t be wearing Silver Gizehs but my Bostons and I will be taking the day off of work tomorrow to celebrate one of our birthdays. You have to guess. So be patient for Thursday’s 365 update, it’ll come on Friday this week.

This gem looks like it could have been taken in 1968, especially given the Beatles records and the ancient pair of Birkenstock sandals. I have a soft spot in my heart for vintage records, and vintage Birkenstock footwear. They seem to go so well together in this picture (which was actually snapped back in July of 2009).

It’s been a little while since we’ve seen our old friend Tawny the Cougar. It looks as if she’s come back to show us what she’s been doing all Winter, collecting Birkenstock sandals and clogs! With Spring just a couple short weeks away we’re hoping Tawny gets the opportunity to wear them all. Fittingly, they all seem to match her orange fur.

Most ideal weekend photograph, OR, most ideal weekend photograph? Yet another great shot of a pair of Cozumels, this time as seen in Mexico.

We’re gearing up for a visit today from our friends at Souls 4 Soles! We’ll make sure to snap a couple pictures of our own to share with you guys next week. It’s pretty exciting around here. Then later today we’ll be visiting them at an event in Union Square in San Francisco.

Here’s another awesome shot from Malaysia and by the looks of things the mounted security doesn’t move much throughout the day. Unless one were to cross that red line, then who knows. Either way that horse is on his/her feet all day, at least it has some shade. It could probably also benefit from an equine version of the Birkenstock footbed but, alas, there is none. At least ONE person in this photograph was wise enough to sport her favorite pair of Madrids. We salute you.
